Avian Skies Texas Dove Hunt
A dove hunt includes a fully guided evening hunt in an intensely habitat managed field (food plots and watering holes), complementary Mojo doves, complementary dove decoys, and complementary ice cold bottled drinking water.
We do not offer private fields, regardless of party size. This policy is to ensure that ALL dove hunters have an ample opportunity of a successful hunt.
Price: $175.00 per person, regardless of age, hunting.
Gratuity: Recommended 20% of total cost of hunt.
Not Included: A post hunt meal, bird cleaning, lodging, proper licenses, gun, ammo, and personal effects.

All Avian Skies Teal Hunts are in the morning only. That means they fit in well with an Avian Skies Texas Dove Hunt. A morning Teal hunt and evening Dove hunt is our most popular hunting package. This allows for a full day of gunning at an affordable price!

Avian Skies Texas Teal Hunt
A teal hunt includes a fully guided mourning hunt out of a well-manicured blind, all decoys and equipment necessary, ATV ride to the blind, complementary ice cold bottled drinking water, and complementary bug dope/Therma Cells.
We require 6 to have a private blind. We often take individual hunters and groups with less than 6. For groups of less than 6 they are combined with other hunters.
Price: $250.00 per person, regardless of age, hunting.
Gratuity: Recommended 20% of total cost of hunt.
Not Included: A post hunt meal, bird cleaning, lodging, proper licenses, gun, ammo, and personal effects. Please note that rubber boots are required unless otherwise notified.

Texas Dove/Teal Hunts
Dove Hunting Advice
Avian Skies cares about your hunt and your hunting success. To ensure that you have a successful hunt make sure everyone has cammo pants, short or light weight long sleeve cammo shirt (cammo jacket too if necessary), cammo cap, and leather boots. Snake boots are not required but are encouraged. Rubber boots are highly encouraged if rain has recently fallen in the area. Remember all birds, including doves, see color. Blue jeans and blaze orange are a "no no".
Finally, familiarize yourself with your firearm. Spend some time at the shooting range before your trip. Make sure that the gun also meets state and federal migratory game bird hunting regulations by having the gun "plugged." That means that the gun is only legally allowed to hold a maximum of 3 shells; one in the chamber and two in the reserve. If you have any questions, please ask as we are here to assist in any way possible.
***Please note that we do book groups of less than 6 with the understanding that you will be hunting with others. Mixed group reservations are only made over the phone.
