We hunt in numerous locations for our hunts. As a general rule of thumb if you are duck hunting you will primarily want to stay in Port Lavaca. If you are Dove, Crane, or Goose hunting you will want to stay in Edna. Each town has numerous places to stay and you will need to call the place you decide to stay and set up your reservations.
Dove/Crane/Goose Hunters: You will want to stay in Edna. There are several places worth staying but we recommend the Jackson Inn (361) 782-0808 or the Best Western (361) 781-0500. Once you decide on the location you will be staying you will need to set up your reservations.
Duck Hunters: You will want to stay in Port Lavaca unless otherwise instructed. There are numerous places to stay in Port Lavaca with most major hotel chains providing service to the area. Once you decide on the location you will be staying you will need to set up your reservations.

Clothing
All Birds See Color (especially blue jeans)...Including Doves!
Doves Hunters: Wearing camouflage clothing (both shirt and pants) highly improves your chances for a successful hunt. Blaze Orange or Blue Jeans highly reduce your chances for a successful hunt because the birds will see you and flair before in range.
Proper foot wear is also essential for Texas dove hunting. Snake boots are recommended but not mandatory. Rubber boots and proper rain wear is recommended in the event of rain.
Waterfowl Hunters: Please make sure that everyone has cammo pants, long sleeve cammo shirt, cammo jacket (if necessary), cammo cap, cammo gloves (if necessary) and a cammo face mask (or face paint). Blue Jeans, Blaze Orange, and Bare Faces are a "No No."
Waders are required on all bay duck hunts. Waders or rubber boots are required for all Sandhill Crane and Prairie Duck Hunts. We are hunting Waterfowl and Waterfowl require Water.

Dove Hunting Field Policy
We do not offer private fields, regardless of party size. This is to ensure that ALL dove hunters have an ample opportunity of a successful hunt.
Sandhill Crane Hunting Policy
Due to the aggressive nature of crippled Sandhill Cranes, dogs are not allowed on any Sandhill Crane Hunt.
Waterfowl Party Size Policy
For ALL Teal, Duck, Goose, and Sandhill Crane hunts we require 6 to have a private blind. We often take individual hunters and groups with less than 6. For groups of less than 6 they are combined with other hunters.
